WELCOME TO THE DRINKS PARTY AL FRESCO

Saturday my McMinnville bird class field trip was at Yamhill municipal sewer ponds. We happened upon a band of hard-drinking (eating, actually) hawthorn wine lovers–hundreds of Cedar Waxwings. Click here for that blog.

A fine bird photographer contacted me for details. Next day, Blake Nolan, his mother and his camera went to Yamhill. It was her birthday and she loves waxwings. Drunk or sober, we may assume. Blake loves fine bird photos.
