RAINY MONDAY, IT’S PRECIPITATING SPARROWS

Five sparrow species today. I put some sunflower chips right below our front window, and then watch to see what sparrows show up. One white-throated for second time in three days. Two days without turkeys–are they too proud to consort with mere sparrows? The kinglet’s presence is a sign that warm days are done at higher elevations.

The white-throat gets his own gallery:

  1. Pretty neat to have a white throated sparrow visiting your feeders.
