- “National Geographic,” no longer owned by the Murdoch media empire, catalogs the official assaults on environmental protections in the U.S.
- The Endangered Species Act may itself be endangered. Corporations and big time extraction industry investors do not want all those damned plants and animals–who can’t vote anyway–to get in the way of ever higher profits. After all, isn’t the whole universe supposed to help money makers make more money? What else is life about?
- The EPA doesn’t want all that silly science stuff to get in the way of its goal–helping Republican donors getting richer. Close down the science advisory function. If you need outside help, you can always pray, or get a tweet from the Tweeter-in-Chief, right?
