At the end of August we took our visiting daughter to see Crater Lake. it was her first visit there when all the roads were open. The birds were few: Raven, Clark’sNutcracker, Cassin’s Finch, possible Merlin. But the views were plentiful.
That is Phantom Ship Rock “sailing” into the lake.
FLORAL DISPLAY
The first I believe is goldenbush.
I believe this blue flower with the yellow center is Aster occidentalis.
Next is Lupinus lepidus, variety: lobbii.
