FEATHERY FALL-OUT–WAVE OF WARBLERS

New visitors arrived on the ovenigh flight. Just after dawn this morning Orange-crowned Warblers were foraging through our rose bushes. One came onto our front porch three feet beyond our front door. The local Bewick’s Wren popped onto the fence, looked around at the feeding frenzy and went back into hiding. Soon the warblers had moved on, the wren was proabably relieved.
