Not once, but twice, today I saw White-throated Sparrow our our front window. And the second time there were TWO.
Another sparrow, Leuc the Skywalker, put in an appearance right below the same window:

Window viewing on a cold, rainy, snowy day was most comfortable…here two male Lesser Goldfinches bring their black crowns into view:

That “large” bird in front of the finches is an ordinary-sized junco.
OTHER GARDEN ACTIVITY

Click on any image above (or below) for full screen view…the fence-sitting Fox Sparrow is a good shot.
BEYOND THE GARDEN
These images are all from Fairview Wetlands…except the lawn-clipping nutria. he was at Deepwood Garden about 100 yards from Pringle Creek. And he’d climbed a steep hill. Lush winter grass must be especially enticing to lure him that far from water.
