
This quartet seems to be socially separate from the gang of Nine that come into our garden most frequently. This appears to be a sorority of adult females.









That final shot is good view of the back of adult male Lesser. All other goldfinches seen here are the “big” Americans. Next to juncos they all look petite. One tea rose refuses to stop blooming–hale be damned!
I have dim recollections of sky blue. Today brought a brief reminder before the hale.
