This morning two hungry Black-headed Grosbeaks were at our feeders! Action. Colors. Flashing feathers. They are amazingly tolerant of the midget finches, too. “Our” grosbeaks favor the fine metal feeder a good friend gave us when we moved in. Actually, used us to give it to the South Salem Seedeaters Society (known locally as Four S).
