Made a quick visit to Ankeny NWR this morning–some Motus-related biz. Eagle Marsh is dust-dry in the pool near the parking lot and kiosk. A walk could take you to water on the trails heading east. There is water at Pintail Marsh next to parking lot. There I saws 16 dowitcher, Cinnamon Teal, Mallards, heron.

Also I’d like to brainstorm with you about #1. a MFS photography program. In addition to your other programs or as an add on program. How many programs can you do at MFS? and #2. I was thinking about us next year planning on making another excursion like we did to Bodega Bay? Someone suggested Moro Bay. and #3. I was wondering if there’s somewhere further afield that you’d like to visit together next year or in 2024? Someplace that you’ve always wanted to go or to go back to. I was thinking about setting up a trip to Ecuador using a guide strongly recommend by a friend…. and #4. Other issues of common interest
Krill to go
