Barbara Rumer was on my Malheur triop last month. She just spent a few days outm there again.
Here are her words and great photos:”another trip did not disappoint–phalaropes still there,  only  a very few black tern,  great success finding young at owl burrow ,  revisited the crater and finally got my wren shots (my camera finally back in my hands after being fixed),  bobolink pr is still there – only saw the 1 pr,    horrific storm at 9-10pm at steens rim , thought the popup truck camper would blow away,   then clear and tried for milky way shots at 1am.”
