Amazon must have delivered a complete shipment of Warbling Vireos overnight. Isn’t that how birds are moved around in the digital age? Who placed the order? There were at least eight in the trees surrounding MB parking lot by the railroad tracks at the main entrance.
In Willamette Slough on the east edge of the parking lot, this secretive lady paddeled about. Her “hair” makes her loom a lot more frightened than she really was. Shy of being seen, but not really worried. She knows our big, bumbling species swims really slowly.

Then there bis this nterrible shot of a mystery bird:

HALO

MAMMAL WORK, IF YOU CAN GET IT
How big mare your teeth?

FIND THE BEAUTY
It’s not the car, the drab utilitarian driveway, the border placed by man, the garage door or white window frame. No the beauty is in the profligate petal fall. These flowers having served their purpose for the tree from which they fell, their last legacy to on-going life says–look and do not regret our brief and brilliant passage.
