SNOW WHAT

So what? Snow White? Show what? Snow Goose! Among the hundreds of cacklers at Mill Creek Wetlands today.

At the far west end of the Wetlands there was a pair of Common Mergansers in Mill Creek. Overhead there was a kestrel menage on the power line. Two kestrels perched side by side. One male and a female. A second male flew and grabbed onto the line and Male #1 departed. The newly constituted couple coupled. Copulaton for population.

More kestrels in the making.
There were several Tree Swallows on the air over the wetlands.
