EVERY DAY IS TURKEY DAY…NOW

Five straight days the turkeys have been in our garden. They came right after dawn this morning and cleaned up the few sunflower chips that lasted overnight. A single hen was in our garden and a neighbor’s cat chased it out into the street. The modest-sized cat couldn’t have been more than one-third the turkey’s mass orf weight

The flicker and White-breasted Nuthatch have been very vocal today. A Bald Eagle was at nest site northeast of Salem Costco, along Mill Creek.
