ANTARCTIC UPDATE WITH COVID DATA

From Melvin Rueppel: “First 3 pictures are from Saturday in warm, sunny, Argentinian Base Brown, a research station. They include a leopard seal, next to apex predator Orca, a young cormorant about to fly away, and a reflection. The 4th is this morning from my veranda. I am well. There are about 6 people out of about 150 in Covid quarantine.”

Photos here are in reverse order of Melvin’s description:

“Pictures of Kelp Gulls and Crabeater seal. Wonderful day with great weather with little wind and high 40s temperatures.”
