EXOTICA

Gretchen and Mike Freeman sent me these two shots from Scottsdale:

Mockingbird, a species that is slowly spreading northward from its original breeding range.

Ecuador has increased the area ofthe Pacific that is being protected. This is being done in the biologically unique Galapagos Archipelago. Click for for sumary.

From my Galapagos visit–that bird at the top is a Galapagos Mockingbird.
