OCTOBER GARDEN WATCH

Mid-afternoon the corws were exercised a a red-tail perched in one of our Doug-firs…they soon convinced him it was more peaceful far from here.

Saw the nine turkey flock in our garden yesterday. They don’t pass daily, just oce or tweice each week–large territory I expect. One of the juveniles is a male, already starting to grow his chest “beard”.
