This video comes from a trailcam in Ashland, near the upper end of Lithia Park and adjacent to the national forest. Lee French provides this video…be it fisher or marten? I think it isd too thick of beam to be a mink and not near a stream, either. I have seen mink in the creek through Lithia Park, gobbling down small fish. Mustelid mystery?

October 30–Lee French tells me an expert field biologist with the Forest Service there in Ashland confirm,s this is a fisher, likely juvie or female based on relative size. Fisher can be be 30″ long or more. Martins are less than 30″.
