Meanwhile, the rape of the water table in many agricultural areas is now causing the inevitable–dry wells. In the Klamath Basin many homes now are dry.
Inland California also has wells drying up. A state law requires strict groundwater use regulation…by 2040. That’s a long time on bottled water…and no showers indoors.
