TWO NEW GARDEN BIRDS

Today I added two more species to those seen in or above our garden–one up, one down. There was a Lincoln’s Sparrow. At first I thought it was simply the usual ring of five siskins around the bird bath. Through the binocs I noticed it was four to one, siskin to Linc. Earlier I happened to be out in the wind when an Osprey soared past. One more garden bird. Later an adult Bald Eagle went over, but I had seen one here two weeks ago already.
