Not far south of Dorris and along Hwy 97 Albert Ryckman and I found this herd of pronghorn, those unique speedsters of the American west. They are residents of the Butte Valley, ignoring the peoples’ pretense of public vs. private land, fences, etc. This group, male on far left, was on an organic ranch, Trinity.
