SNIPE HUNT COMES HOME

I don’t really have to go looking for snipe right now. They come into our water-logged garden. This evening the dog and I went out between showers for a quick walk. A snipe took off from among our rose bushes.

Earlier in the day we got some rainy grainy images of a few of the heron nests near the I-5 Exit 263 north of Keizer-Salem. And a walk at Deepwoods Garden put us in sight of a very unafraid Pacific Wren.

Also at Deepwoods today the violets are blooming(along with other winter flowers–primroses, hellebore, snow drops).
