The list of birds seen in our garden is slowing growing, hit two dozen today with our first American Goldfinches. A surprise earlier this week was a House Wren. Maybe on migration as our garden is owned by Bewick’s. Speaking of House, I still; have not seen a cowbird nor a House Sparrow, no complaints, just noting.
Earlier this week I had to take a car to the Toyota dealer. That meant I had to walk around the adjacent Lake Capitol. Lotsa Mallards and on the floating golf green there were three species, but only the Mallards were not a hoax. Meanwhile the spray made it a rainbow lake.
