Here are two images of Great Horned Owlet taken in Sutro Heights Park by Tom Kuhn, friend and neighbor who lives next to that park.  They were not taken at the same time so could be two individuals, earlier this month I blogged his pics of an adult there.  I lived near that park for two decades and we never found Great Horned Owls there.  This is one good sign that park gardeners are not using D-Con on the rodents.  Three decades ago D-Con led to a temporary extermination of GHOs in Golden Gate Park.
