NOT A BARROW’S AT NARROWS

Here are two images of the male GOLDENEYEwe saw here at The Narrows in Malheur Basin on June 13th.  We have not re-found the bird despite Narrows revisitation each morning.  The bird is molting so the white face mark is misleading.  The head shape and forehead slope is a BETTER indication that is a less rare Common Goldeneye.  I must thank Rick Vetter for correcting my mis-identification.
