Tonight about 925PM the dog and I stepped outside for our night walk. We could hear two Great Horned Owls dueting. One voice was deeper than the other–male and female? Adult and juvenile? Both were in trees north of the intersection of Michelbook and NW 19th Street here in McMinnville.
It was only two days ago we saw a pair of GHOs in the woods along Cozine Creek about two miles south of tonight’s owl hearing.
