Above: Cliff Swallows outside old barn along Westside Road, Yamhill County. Lincoln’s Sparrow in our garden…maybe same bird I saw two days ago. He’s a sneaky, skulker rarely seen in the open. But I did get a shot just before he leaped. Figure in the background is stone turtle.
Two White-crowned Sparrows in our garden today, up from only one last week. Pine Siskins still around but only one junco, no yellow-rumped warbler and no more Golden-crowned Sparrows. Vaux’s Swifts over trees around our house.
