I’ve long thought of ravens as among the most playful of animals, up there with puppies and goats.  In storms along Ocean Beach in San Francisco I used to watch ravens doing aerial tricks in the face of a storm coming onshore, sometimes winds of 60 MPH or more.  All the other birds would be hunkered down or in hiding.
