My friend Kirk Gooding got close to two red-tails being banded, one juvie and one adult…then went on wilder and wondrous things:
These images show both a juvie and an adult Red-tailed Hawk being banded and then a young man releasing the adult back into the air. The two raptors images before the shrike are Rough-legged. The next two are Ferruginous. Tundra Swans. Several Bald eagles shots. Click on any image to enlarge. Nice stuff, thanks, Kirk.
