FLYING IN THIN AIR

Perhaps the world’s highest flying animals…are Bar-headed Geese, that annually cross over the Himalayan Mountains, twice.  How do they do that?  Research trying to find out.

If you want to see these and other waterfowl on migration, check out the old French documentary, Le Peuple Migrateur.  There are still copies available on DVD.  The video was shot from aircraft of various types at goose-eye level.
