My friend, Brandon Breen, and his father annually g to Alaska for hiking and camping and birding.  This trip Brandon and his dad went to the Yukon Territory first.
Here is his bird list from several days in Canada’s Kluane National Park: Horned grebe, mallard, blue-winged teal, white-winged scoter, goldeneye spp., sharp-shinned hawk, golden eagle, bald eagle, northern harrier, American kestrel, merlin, peregrine falcon, willow ptarmigan, rock ptarmigan, dusky grouse, lesser yellowlegs, solitary sandpiper, spotted sandpiper, northern hawk-owl (pictured), northern flicker, olive-sided flycatcher, alder flycatcher, horned lark, violet-green swallow, gray jay, black-billed magpie, common raven, black-capped chickadee, boreal chickadee, Townsend’s solitaire, American robin, American pipit, Bohemian waxwing, northern shrike, yellow warbler, yellow-rumped warbler, northern waterthrush, Wilson’s warbler, American tree sparrow, Lincoln’s sparrow, white-crowned sparrow, dark-eyed junco, red-winged blackbird, white-winged crossbill, common redpoll, and pine siskin.
