All is flux.  Nothing lasts forever.  Yet, death hurts.  Sometimes it hurts even when the death is something that only lived in a way we do not.  Like a glacier.   One has died in Iceland (irony in that name goes unremarked often) but it has been memorialized.

“Glacial” used to mean both icy and exceptionally slow.  Climate change is going to re-write our dictionary along with all the other unwelcomed changes.

Glacial, adjective, meaning to disappear regardless of regard; something ancient disappeared.
