I checked the dipper nest along Baker Creek Road.  A gape could be clearly seen through the next opening, and the nestling;s whole face attached thereto. One adult was perched on a rock mid-stream, on sentinel duty.dpr-nestfacedpr-sundy2

At Ed Grenfell park a Red-breasted Sapsucker was busy on sapling. His freshly dripped sap wells are visible in these images. Click on any image for full screen view.
