Two nesting species today. The Baker Creek dippers and a robin on a nest in Grenfell Park downstream from the dipper bridge. The dipper on watch in the middle of the stream sand once while I was there. I heard no answer from the mate that I suspect was in the nest, incubation duty.
At Yamhill Sewer Ponds today not a single swallow to be seen. Still plenty of ducks. No Cacklers, no shorebirds, not even a Killdeer.
