Animals in the natural world are now in a family way.  Yesterday at Wennerberg Park we saw a grosbeak family on the edge of a ball diamond, then later saw an adult creeper feeding a fledgling under the shading canopy of the oak grove.  If you click on the images you will get full screen version.  The dark sequence of creeper feeding creeper were taken with egregiously bright back-lighting as the birds were in the shade.

The swallows–many cliff, a few barn–can be found swirling around the old white barn just south of the Carlton turn-off from Westside Road.BIG MAPLEThis multi-trunk maple above is my favorite tree at Wennerberg.
Below, my favorite neighbor, working hard in my garden.
