In fairy tales there is Snow White.  In the real world of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, one can Know White.  Here in this pile of nutria an albino one.  A ranger there tells me the albinism is not uncommon in the Ridgefield nutria population and that dog-piling has become more evident this year.WHITE NUT



  1. Why do they dog-pile? For warmth? Has it been colder?
