A SEEDY MORNING

Five siskins showed up shorty after dawn, numbering almost the same as the few snow flakes that fell before 8AM and then vanished from sight. First siskins for over two weeks.  But the local birds are starting to look spring-like, pairing though not singing here yet.  I did hear a Song Sparrow at Joe Dancer Park today.
