COLD FOG QUELLS SPRING SING

This morning’s cold and ground fog smothered all the singing…except for the chorus frogs chorusing from their hideouts.

The two Yellow-rumps continue to alternate their garden appearances.  This morning the Audubon’s was seen, yesterday the Myrtle.AUDAt Joe Dancer there is once again a male Anna’s Hummer keeping watch over a row of trees just west of the skateboard park…right where a male was seen regularly last winter.IMG_2603And the trees lining the closed road to the skateboard park are once again frequented by a Red-breasted Sapsucker…again like last winter.
