 Here is note from a New York birder visiting southern Oregon, Eamon Corbett:
“Thank you for the extremely helpful info! I went out this afternoon and after a fair bit of looking saw a Great Gray around 6pm … Got the tip off from two birders/photographers who were already there looking at it– fairly distant and amazingly well camouflaged but got great looks! Incredible bird. Didn’t really get much in the way of photos, but I attached my one identifiable record shot below. Other nice birds were a flock of Gray Jays at Hoxie Meadow, a couple varied thrushes in different places, and harrier and bald eagle by the lake.”
