An exhaustive study of the environment in Brazil’s Amazonia (has nothing to do with online retailer, not owned by Jeff Bezos…yet) has uncovered hundreds of new species…just as we see that human activity is putting many species in danger of extinction. Gotta love the firetail monkeys!
Western Puffbird is the only new bird species…and they found a new river dolphin species, first to be discovered in a century.
