We made a trip into the Cascades this evening to check Great Gray Owl nest platforms. We checked three and found no action…yet, but it is early in the season. Here are Emmalisa Whalley’s photos from our trip, including the other “great” owl, a nesting pair of GHOs:Hound;s tongue above, yellow violet below. Both at Willow-Witt Ranch.
