MONOCHROME MORNING AND MORE

MONOCROME MORNING In the freezing dawn above Tomales Bay it was as if all the color had been frozen out of the sky and water.
BCN IN TREE
Night-Heron perched at sunrise.
COYE IN ICEPLNT Comon Yellowthroat bug-hunting in the iceplant.

A Congress of Crows. Nothing was decided though much was said.

CORA CLIMB
There was a wild wind ripping down the beach at Limantour in the afternoon. Most birds were hunkered down. Not the Ravens. There are few sights more exciting than watching a Raven cavorting in a strong wind. Flight done by a pro with confidence and panache.
