THE BOOK PEDDLER

First you write the thing, then you have to peddle it. My life as a retailer has only begun.

I am giving presentation and hopefully selling some books tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 13, my lucky day, at Redwood Audubon in Eureka. Meeting is at 730pm in the Humboldt County Office of Education at Myrtle and West Avenues, Eureka.

On Thursday, Sept. 19, I will be at the Golden Gate Audubon meeting in Berkeley. It’s at the Northbrae Community Church, 941 The Alameda in Berkeley. Refreshments at

Near the end of the month I will be speaking at the Lane County Audubon meeting in Eugene. Tuesday, September 24, 7:30 PM at the Eugene Garden Club, 1645 High St.

Just to make sure all Eugeners get a chance, I will return to Eugene for the Second Saturday Art walk and will be at the Wild Birds Unlimited store there on the afternoon of October 12. That location is 2510 Willamette Street, Eugene, OR.

On Saturday, November 16th, I will be at the Sacramento Wildlife Refuge just off I-5 between Sacramento and Red Bluff. I will do a presentation and book signing at the visitors center which can reached from Exit 595. (I looked that up in Freeway Birding!)
The weekend of November 23-24 I will be in Portland. On Saturday the 23rd I will do a bird walk in the morning, a presentation and book signing in the afternoon at Tualatin River NWR near Sherwood. The next day, I will be at the Portland Wild Arts Festival for a book signing. That will be Noon to 4PM. The festival is in Montgomery Park • 2701 NW Vaughn, Portland, OR.
