NEWBRY SATURDAY

I led a Rogue Valley Audubon field trip on Saturday. We birded along the Gfreenway trail starting at Newbry Park and heading upstream. The singing Grosbeaks and chattering orioles were much in evidence. Many singing Yellow Warblers, a pair of chickadees hauling food to a nest hole, a signing Warbling Vireo…in short, a lot of springy activity. Plus a Dipper at the footbridge upstream from the gravel ponds.BCC1
