These three shots above are all from December 6th by George Peterson. Proves what a photogenic bird is this particular Phainopepla, not camera-shy.

The above five photos were taken by Terence Phillipe, also December 6. Don’t you love this bird’s cavalier plumes on top? Terrence also got some nice shots of the Phainopepla’s competition in the mistletoe-berry-eating league:
