Here are some pictures taken by Don Shawler…of small stuff.
Here’s the best I can do with identifying these critters, 1. From top to bottomn: 1) first ofthree skimmers, this one is the twelve-spotted. 2) hoary skimmer. 3) golden-mantled ground squirrel. lack of facial markkinghs means this not a chipmunk 4) greenish blue bjtterfly 5) fritillary, perhaps Atalntis species. 6) eight-spotted skimmer.
