Here are some more sightings in the Portland, Oregon, area: PHOTOS IN ORDER, FROM THE TOP: eastern gray squirrle, introduced in Portland area; Pine Siskin at feeder; Song Sparrow in song; two thumbnail shots of Varied Thrush in the dim light of Tryon Creek’s rain forest; two shots of Sandhill Cranes on Sauvie Island; a flock of Canada Geese, local and Dusky varieties taking off, Sauvie Is.; a sunset when there was no snow or rain.
