KLAMATH IN MARCH GALLERY

Here are some more of my own images from the March 3 Klamath birding trip. (Click on lone eagle or snow flurry to see full frame view.) Raptors: Harrier; two shots of a perched Merlin along auto tour route in South Klamath NWR. Rough-legged hawk in flight, Butte Valley. Ferruginous Hawk standing his ground in Butte Valley organic farm where the rodent population was tremendous and thus attracted many raptors.  Two Bald Eagles shares a small willow.  Below: a snow flurry, a blizzard of Snow Geese along Stateline Road.

  2. I had my first Klamath winter trip this year and it was amazing. Your photos are great – much better than mine!
