There’s a lot of wild life on the means streets of Ashland. Actually, it’s simply wildlife that has become not so wild. Like this raccoon sneaking along the wall of Wells Fargo. He learned that big banks leave no crumbs for him, or anyone else.
This male Mallard was using the proper cross-walk near a municipal office building, maybe going into apply for a nesting permit?
The deer here, of course, are nearly self-domesticated. Town is a safe place to live, no hunting allowed.
