Birds in Berkeley

CATOonCampusWe were walking about the Berkeley campus with two friends we hadn’t seen in years.  It was a great visit.  But like any birder, I couldn’t help looking.  And then stopping once in awhile for a shot or two.  Like the California Towhee in the blooming and fruiting century plant.  Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience for him, and probably for me as well.Crows onField Trip  Here we have a class of Crows on a field trip.  They seem to be studying the ground, right?  Future entomologists, no doubt.
