img_64791You may hate these guys, but you have to admire them.  Like Starlings, the dandelion is tough, adaptable and nearly omnipresent in the U.S.  They even bloom in January.  And they make great salad.

 

img_64921And there’s this ebullient trio of mature cherry trees, shouting their glee at the warmer, longer days of April.
